About Us
First Step Medical is a family-owned pediatric practice in the Bronx focused on preventative care and community building. For the past 10 years, our goal has been to deliver exceptional service, valuable resources and education to our patients and parents. Our intention is to provide a safe space for genuine interaction, with the aim to optimize the health of our patients.
PROVIDERS:
Depa Manohara, CPNP-PC obtained her nurse practitioner degree at Columbia University. She’s been at First Step Medical for over 5 years and loves the community she serves.
Dr. Maria M. Molina obtained her degree of Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo (INTEC) in 1990. In 1999 she earned her degree in pediatrics from Mount Sinai Medical School, after which she worked as an assistant attending for both Elmhurst and New York Presbyterian Hospitals. She has since served her community for 20+ years, opening First Step Pediatrics in Hamilton Heights in 2004 and in 2013, this second practice in the Bronx. She is passionate about educating parents, emphasizing the importance of preventive measures to keep children healthy.
